Privacy Policy

This is a small editorial site. It has no accounts, no shopping basket and no booking system, so there is very little data to collect and we have tried to keep the policy the same size as the reality.

What we collect

• Basic analytics. Aggregate figures about which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from, and what kind of device they use. This is counted in aggregate and is not used to build a profile of any individual.
• Email addresses, only if you give us one. That means either writing to us directly or asking to join the mailing list. We keep the address so we can reply or send the mailing, and nothing else.
• Server logs. Standard web-server records, kept briefly for security and troubleshooting.

What we don't do

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We do not run advertising networks or third-party trackers for ad targeting on this site. We do not ask for names, addresses, dates of birth or payment details, because we have no use for them.

Cookies

The site works without cookies for reading. Any cookie set is either strictly necessary or a simple analytics cookie, and you can block them in your browser without losing access to any content here.

Removing your data

Write to hello@wildsocialdreams.com and ask. We will remove your address from the mailing list and delete correspondence we still hold, and we will confirm when it is done. You do not need to give a reason.

Where we link to a hotel's own site, that site has its own policy and we have no control over it.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update it here rather than emailing everyone; the current version is always the one on this page.
